Is this good or ok. Or is this mainstream at all?

I want to write raps to help ppl through there pain
Instead it was easy to talking about making it rain
Mainstream was something that I didn't want to be
It my be played but I didn't want it to be me

I wanted to be my idol until I recently learned
Being famous was his first and only concern
He only cared about getting and keeping his green.
