Hosoda helps produce 'Wolf Children'

Tokyo, japan, japan -- Mamoru Hosoda, the helmer of hit 2009 toonpic "Summer season Wars," which acquired $22 million within the Japanese box office, has revealed his latest project. Referred to as "Okami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki" (The Wolf Children's Rain and Snow), it is a fantasy focusing on two children born with a human mother together with a wolf-guy father. The pic's scripter Satoko Okudera, character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto and professional producer Seiji Okuda, in the NTV TV network, also labored together on "Summer season Wars." Okuda has furthermore produced many photos by toon maestro Hayao Miyazaki. Toho is skedded to create "Okami" within this summer time. An illusion about teen gamers who thwart a rogue program that expects to paralyze digital world, "Summer season Wars" scooped a Japan Academy Award for top animation, among many other honors, and examined within the Berlin film fest.
